lets assume i am a software engineer working at @alexa, @facebook, @googspy, @intel, @microsoft or @siri and i am working on backdoors for @cia, @fbi, @gchq and @nsa
lets also assume i am a chinese/russian sleeper agent
do you not think i wouldnt also put in backdoors for the chinese/russians too ?
proprietry software is dangerous it is potentially lethal civil liberty violations are trivial in comparison
to save and protect the world you need to switch to free libre software (such as @tezos blockchains) today
Reclaim your freedom with RMS
RMS talks about #freedom and @intel and others
The Intel Management Engine with its proprietary firmware has complete access to and control over the PC: it can power on or shut down the PC, read all open files, examine all running applications, track all keys pressed and mouse movements, and even capture or display images on the screen. And it has a network interface that is demonstrably insecure, which can allow an attacker on the network to inject rootkits that completely compromise the PC and can report to the attacker all activities performed on the PC. It is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy that can’t be ignored.
apple v fbi v freedom
unlike in the movies why do the best hackers on the planet not work for the FBI? Because the FBI will not hire anyone with a 24-inch purple mohawk, 10-gauge ear piercings, and a tattooed face who demands to smoke weed while working and won’t work for less than a half-million dollars a year

Free Libre Open Source isn't the same as free-of-charge ! Free Libre Open Source is much more about the ethics and even politics of "freedom" !
The Open Source paradigm is producing very high quality code and Open Source companies (and increasingly, traditionally closed source ones) are providing real value to clients with this code.
What’s really driving the adoption of open source software is "freedom" … open standards, a lack of usage restrictions, and not being locked into a single software vendor as their primary reasons for looking at or adopting open source solutions … the ability to customize these packages to specific business uses – especially in vertical markets.
Freedom is key.
There is a problem has been bugging me for some time now and that is the problem of worldwide blogs and language. For example if my preferred language is French I'll probably blog in French but how can I approve feedback and comments from people who have a different preferred language ?
Is there an unwritten etiquette that dictates you only post comments in the same language as the original post ? Should the "approver" use bablefish to translate comments into their preferred language before approving them? and then only approve and repost the babelfish output ?
How does a "global" ISP or blog site like VOX make sure that all posts in all languages are not offensive or abusive without employing enough people to know every language in the world ? If anyone from VOX is reading please let me know your solutions !
NOTE : I'm sorry but I feel I can only approve comments in English until I have solved this dilemma !
